BARRE OBLIQUE

Contre Oblique.

Une déferlante, lente. De gauche à droite.

La ligne horizontale glisse, plonge et précipite le terrain du haut vers le bas avec rapidité, urgence. 

Des zones urbaines fragilisées vacillent, bougent, vivent, se fragmentent, se chevauchent et se restructurent.

Cela induit une sensation de chute, un effet déstabilisant.

 

La ville flotte dans un espace universel. Posée sur des plaques tectoniques, elle est en mouvement perpétuel.

Dynamique, elle se reconstitue selon d’autre critères et survit.

Ce processus de recomposition permet à certains morceaux de se libérer :

des iles-blocs se détachent, se dispersent et voyagent vers d’autres contrées spatiales pour former un nouvel horizon.

///WHEN THE COOKIE CRUMBLES

There was this excellent cookie.

Tasty and all.

Got crushed through violent movements.

It subsided, collapsed and crumbled off.

What a shame.

It’s not right --- or is it?

 

The crumbled cookie looks and behaves differently now.

There is something new to eat.

It crunches, with a new taste, a new smell, another point of view.

Some of it remains intact, some of it reforms: crumbs interact and create another joint venture.

A rise of other shapes.

A new, fresh Entity exists.

///FRAGMENTS

Le monotype imprimé sur papier Japon forme le matériau de base pour réaliser ces collages.

Les impressions sont découpées, déchirées, posées côte à côte, assemblées et collées.

C’est un jeu de construction, un puzzle à résoudre.

Des fragments recomposés et ré-agencés forment une structure urbaine nouvelle, peuplée d’entités architecturales.
